"This is a good book for science fiction fans. It deals with a work very far in the future. I don't like the fact that it didn't do much with the story lines of the characters, but instead focused on the narrative itself. I like reading about characters and their history and what goes on between other characters. This is still a great book for any science fiction fan, especially if you want to know more about the world itself."

Many Russians were forced to adapt Soviet ideas and lifestyles which were not natural at all. The conversion from one government to another made things very difficult for it's inhabitants and it was this difficulty that Bulgakov used as the symbol of a dog. "

The topic wasn't really interesting to me (I received this book as a gift) - the Jewish pursecution topic seems to be overdone in the past half century. The book would be much better, too, if the wordiness was cut down. Every so often I'd think, "get to the point, please!" Just not my type of book."

"This is the third book in a series, and it's clear the author is running a little out of steam. The characters weren't especially engaging and sometimes behaved in unbelievable ways. The plot requires a great deal of suspending disbelief, and I'm not sure it's worth the effort. The attempt to fold in morality really made this a bit tedious for me. "

"To say this book is the best book for science fiction fans is beyond a stretch. You have plenty of books to choose from. With that said, it is a fairly interesting book that twists the roles of humans and animals. Animals are the dominate species and humans are the pets and food. It isn't a bad book and it is pretty good for a short read, I wouldn't put it as one of the best books for science fiction fans."

"I think this is a good solution. The book has an interesting premise. It has a good rating and a good price. The only reason it's not perfect is that it is the 2nd book in the series and I don't know if you need to read the other book first. "

"If you are like me, you have been waiting for the Sci-Fi genre to get a kick in the pants. The stories have become stale and the characters have become predictable. I was pleasantly surprised by A.I. Apocalypse (and the first book in the series: Singularity) on a fresh approach to one of my favorite types of writing. If you enjoy spies, deceit and Russian mobs with a twist of futuristic technology this book deserves to be top of your list."

"This book is definitely science fiction and will appeal to fans of the genre. however, it is a novelization of a TV show and will likely not be considered a "best book" for fans unless the fans have watched the show. Even then, it's iffy. I watched Stargate and have no interest in reading this book."
