"If you grew up playing the board game Clue, then you would understand how addictive and fun it was to gather your friends or family to sit around and play this fun game. Just trying to solve the mysteries of who did it and to solve it was a lot of fun. Along came this series of books brought to us by A.E. Parker and Eric Weiner and I have to say these are a lot of fun to read. They're kind of hard to find but I was lucky enough to be able to find Midnight Phone Calls online. It's the 5th book in the series. I have to say there's a strong sense of nostalgia when I read through these books as they're an easy read and great to get your kids into it if you want them to start reading instead of wasting their time in front of the TV."

"This is a simplistic mystery, but that's fine since it's for children. I picked it up when one of my kids left it lying around, and took a look. Surprisingly, it's also kind of entertaining. Because it doesn't delve into gore or adult themes, the story keeps moving, and focuses mostly on just giving you a straight forward mystery to consider. There's some clue hunting, some characters deciding how they want to proceed, but basically what it says you're getting is exactly that; a fast paced mystery."

"The book is part of the Clue series so I would say it is already one of the best. If you think about looking for the best individual books for a series, it is kind of difficult since a series won't be largely popular if only a few of the books are good. I would say all books are pretty much on the same level of quality, so that says a lot for a series already."

"Back when I was a kid I used to read a lot of books from the Clue series. As I got older I did not have much use for them so I started giving them away. Out of all of the books that I had, my brother told me that the best one was the The Picture-Perfect Crime (Clue) book. He really liked the story in this one the most."

"I am not entirely familiar with the whole series, but I read some pretty good reviews about this book. I would say pick this one up if you want to get a head start in reading the series, but this might not be one of the best judging by some other ratings and reviews of it."
