It tells the story of how the Primm family finds Lyle the crocodile in the bath tub of their new home who they learn is friendly but will only eat Turkish caviar. "We are a big fan of books from the Weekly Reader Children's Book Club for our son. Little Toot fit the bill perfectly as our little guy is absolutely fascinated with boats and this quickly became a popular nightly read in our house. In our experience this book and the rest of the Weekly Reader Children's Book Club books are surefire hits for our kiddo. Not much else to say other than it's a fun kid's book that I'm sure anyone's little ones will enjoy."

"it is very amusing and humorously intricate story developed by Gene Zion in his own era which still pertains to the norms of today's generation. Harry the little dog perseveres in his ambition no matter what until all options are exhausted just to get that Lady to stop singing. This character I think can bring the sense of never giving up in children. It may make children be resilient in their pursuit no matter what obstacles are there. It is recommended to children both from sense of humor, adventure and being determined in your ambitions"
