"The Moonstone is not for everyone. Atlthough it is a classic it can be tough to digest given the number of eyewitnesss accounts to keep track of. I'm not sure I would consider this a true epistolary format book. A backgound in India or hinduism would also be helpful to best understand this book."

"This was a great read but then again I'm a fan of epistolary novels. If done right, as in this case, epistolary format is a great way to deliver a story. I had a difficult time putting this book down for some odd reason because I was so immersed into it. I was kind of shocked by this because I thought I was going to hate it when I started."
