"A polarizing book due to its intense themes and content. Many can not handle the human condition put down on paper in black and white right in front of you to read. Others can, and will thoroughly enjoy this book as a teen or as an adult. A tale of a boy nearly suicidal after multiple pitfalls, you'll be engaged throughout and it will not doubt have you looking inward at yourself. "

"I had heard on the news that To Kill a Mockingbird had ended up on the ALA challenged list last year, which was shocking in my opinion. I think it is definitely the best book on the ALA challenged list right now. It is a book that all teenagers should be required to read to learn about self growth, tolerance an purity. Overall this is a very great solution to the topic of best books in the ALA challenged list. No other book on the list comes close. "

"I'm sure the millennials think this is a history book... or at least not relevant to their lives. Well, you're wrong. This book, about government being the "Big Brother," is really about security and safety and how that can be taken away from you. Despite the old-sounding title, give it a read."

"Brave New World is one of the most famous dystopian novels in existence and is arguably one of the best books ever written. It's definitely among the best in the ALA challenged list. This book is controversial for its depiction of promiscuity and for its offensive language but is uncomfortably thought-provoking and oddly prophetic. It's a masterpiece."
