"My teen daughter is really into vampire and paranormal fiction. I decided to read one of her Buffy the vampire books and I was decently impressed by the book. It had a good amount of drama and character development."

"Time of Your Life is the most thrilling book of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series where Buffy is trying to figure out the secrets of her mysterious scythe. This book is a wild ride and is one of the best reads I've had in a long time, and it's cheap!"

"Drew Goddard takes over the rest of the volume and introduces a pack of asian vampires, reunites Xander and Dracula, and pays the weirdest homage to Godzilla versus MechaGodzilla that I've ever seen. Goddard is the first Buffy TV writer other than Whedon to take on the writing duties for season 8. Knowing that Goddard wrote the screenplay for Cloverfield, it's kinda easy to see where the Godzilla part of the story comes from. He handles the main cast as well as both Whedon and Brian K Vaughn have done so far in the series. Having been on board for part of the Buffy and Angel TV series, he's already had a hand in shaping where the characters are at the beginning of season 8. So far, there has been no down point to the the writing in this series no matter who was doing the writing. The story gets 5 stars. "

"For 'Buffy' fans, there's a lot of choice out there for licensed works. Freefall is an ideal pick for a good reason - it was penned by Joss Whedon. A lot of the novels, graphic novels, comics, and so on are of...let's say "variable" quality, but this is straight from the creator's mouth, and the quality really shows. You won't want to miss this!"
