"Jeffrey Archer is one of my favorite authors. I've read all of his other books and this ranks up there in the top ten. A few of the stories are a bit weak but are worth getting through to reach the others, which are really good."

"Kind of a parallel book to Cain and Abel but from the perspective of Abel's daughter. If you read Cain and Abel, then this book is a reasonably nice follow along as it fills in some of the blanks in the main book (Cain and Abel). I would call Cain and Abel historical fiction as it follows more or less the history of the US and Europe starting from the beginning of WW1. But the Prodigal Daughter deviates from history into pure fiction with the evolution of Florentyna's political career."

"This book took me a little while to get into, but then it became very engaging and intriguing. There is a lot of politics in this book, so if you don't like politics you may want to skip it. Great plot though, and good character development. Overall, I loved it. "
