"Borderline is a decent novel from the Hard Case Crime series. It is easy enough to read and goes fast. It is a little different than other Hard Case Crime novels I have read in the past in that it contains more vulgar and pornographic material."

"I have read almost all of the Hard Case Crime books. I have to say this is definitely not one of my favorites. I was skeptical to start out with due to the title of the book, but I tried to look past it. It turns out that was a mistake. The title pretty much lets you know what you are in for, over the top trash even for a hard crime novel. I would recommend picking up another book from the series. "

I've always loved the mystery crime noir fiction genre and just had to read this being that it's the first book in the series. The writer happens to be a favorite of mine and I felt that this was his best writing in a long time. It's a bit of a classic at this point and not to be missed!"

"This book was a rather standout book as it deals with a climb, that actually happened years back. The book follows a series of murders of Mormon missionaries and the people that were working to track down the killer. I thought it was a rather good read and would recommend it to people that want to read about a real life crime investigation that occurred."

"I thought that this is a good book although it's really dense. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of good information in here, but I felt like the writing style was just very dry and it was really hard to get into it. I put it down and honestly I couldn't really bring myself to pick it back up. Good information, but it's a slog to get through. "

There is a length trial portion in the book which may put off some, but I find engaging. This one is hard to put down once you've started. "
