"Personally, I thought it was an interesting read, but some of the conclusions drawn and the arguments used are rather reaching. I think books like this would be more convincing if rather than use any argument they can, trim some of the really weak arguments and don't even bother using them. I found myself rolling my eyes at some of the evidence that was presented as nefarious in the book, but still an interesting read."

"Lords of Chaos does a great job of covering most things that led to the black metal scene. There's a bit of rambling on topics that wasn't really interesting unfortunately. Fans of death metal and black metal will not be let down and will find most of their favorite bands in the book. The thing that i really love about this book is all the details. It's really amazing."

" I have just finished reading this remarkable history of Timothy Wyllie's journey through that turbulent time. The entire book is a fascinating read; particularly the author's account of the time spent with Timothy Leary that puts a very human face on one of the more misunderstood "icons" of that area"

"the cover of the book is not attractive and lacks a much more attractive headline, because to me personally, I'm not attracted to the idea of reading about that topic, and even more when the first impression (the cover) I do not like"

"this book focuses more on the detective which is cool but it doesn't really focus on victims and their back stories. But on the other hand its a good story, pictures are pretty cool and very graphic. So if you get startled easily, don't read this book as its very graphic. Highly recommened to people who's into crime stories"
