"This book was great for the time but a little bit dated since it was published just the peak of the banking stock market crash/great recession. The book does give great timeless advice on varying assets and planning for rough economic times, but many things, particularly healthcare and taxes are out of date and no longer applicable. Many changes from both Obama and Trump have happened since this book, so it is more of like a what to do in certain circumstances guide. A more modern version for this author would be a great service."

"The Bogleheads are no slouches when it comes to investing in money so if they recommend this book you should pick it up. I mean since they could easily recommend one of their own books over this it must be impressive."

"Eleven-year-old Liesel Meminger is a foster child who has recently arrived in a small town outside Munich, Germany during WWII. Liesel has been sent to live with Hans and Rosa Huberman, presumably for the small stipend they’ll receive. Liesel is still suffering from the loss of her little brother and the difficult and somewhat mysterious separation from her mother.
