"Unhooked is a well-written story albeit predictable at times. Lisa Maxwell is a prolific writer who uses words in whole new way."

"Wendy Darling lives in London with her brothers in a wealthy section of London. She has also gotten into a romance with Booth, the neighborhood boy whose father sells books. One night when their parents are away, Peter Pan comes to the children's room he takes them to Neverland, an island of pure fantasy and imagination. A wonderful book that is the first part of a series that you will want to read."

"I found myself lost in this book for several days, because it was so whimsical. I like most people grew up watching the Peter Pan movie and this book allowed me to read about his other adventures. I would read the book in my university's library, because it was very quiet and had little distractions. The book managed to sneak in some dark moments, but overall I found myself smiling throughout do to the charming characters. If you are a Peter Pan fan or Neverland fan you should definitely check it out."

"Shadow Thieves is the second book in the Alternate Peter Pan franchise and, while I'm having trouble remembering some of the bad guys from the first book, this installment is great and completely satisfying. I love Ombra, the shadow thief. He is one of the most original and awe-inspiring villains I've ever seen. And Nezerra, the pirate with no nose. HAHA! While he was a wonderful bad guy, he got trumped by Ombra and relegated to a second-class villain. That was unfortunate. I would have liked to have seen more of him. But here's the kicker: Nobody writes CLIFF-HANGERS like these two authors. Every single chapter ends on a CLIFF-HANGER. I actually titter like a little school girl every time I reach the end of a chapter, because it just leaves me hanging while the authors go check out what the other characters are doing. This is the best use of CLIFF-HANGERS I have ever seen, bar none, ever! So, if you like great characters, compelling story lines, original concepts and CLIFF-HANGERS, then check out this series. I bought number two as soon as I finished number one and now I'm off to purchase number three."

"Reading this book felt somewhat sacrilegious since it wasn't written by the original Peter Pan author and therefore is hardly "canon", but I must admit it felt nice to see the whole gang again. heather Killough-Walden has done a bang-up job of capturing the lightning in the bottle that defined the original series. Ay, matey!"

"Another Pan is sort of like a modern take on Peter pan but it just wasn't that entertaining. It was full of too many cliches rehashed over and over in the numerous remakes of the Peter pan story. I suppose if you are a young reader this might be worth a read for you but if you know the story of Peter pan like the back of your hand this book brings nothing new."

"The third book of the Peter Pan series is, I think, one of the best. The story is relatively simple, due to it's YA influence, but it's fun and an adventure that you don't see in a lot of books these days"

"To me this came off like a cheesy novelization of the Pirate's of the Caribbean movies. It doesn't have anything to do those movies, but the themes and characters seemed to be more of that stylization than about the original peter pan story. If you want books and stories set in Neverland, than I would suggest the original peter pan stories as the best place to get your fix."
