"Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand is a wondrful book for those who are interested in her philosophical viewpoint Objectivism. Although it is over a 1000 pages, it keeps you interested the whole way. I enjoyed her views on a Dystopian society that are told through an action thriller format. This is definitely a good read."

"Les Miserables can probably considered among the best books with over 1000 pages. I don't think it can be called the best, because while it is a powerful story and it is told very well on stage and in movies, the book itself drags because it is over 1000 pages. But that's common for these longer books, but there are a few that buck that trend that I'd put as the very best."

"In the mood for a long quality book. This suggestion however just did not hit the mark. Slow, drawn-out with little lead up to a less then spectacular ending. A long can be a risk and in this case the suggestion was not to my taste."
