"While this is a great book that touches on a difficult subject for teens (rape), and is a National Book Award finalist, it is not on the list of Printz Award winners or honors. It is a well written book that explores high school in a very accurate way. But if you're looking for just Printz books, then this book is not on your list. "

"This Printz Honor Book is a “tender, honest exploration of identity” (Publishers Weekly) that distills lyrical truths about family and friendship. Aristotle is an angry teen with a brother in prison. Dante is a know-it-all who has an unusual way of looking at the world. When the two meet at the swimming pool, they seem to have nothing in common. But as the loners start spending time together, they discover that they share a special friendship—the kind that changes lives and lasts a lifetime. And it is through this friendship that Ari and Dante will learn the most important truths about themselves and the kind of people they want to be."

"Again the solution tells me nothing about the book or the story line. The information simply states that a book published by Louise Rennison in 1999 fits that topic. I need more information. Not to mention the solution does not even mention the award itself. "

    #9Stolen

    Stolen

Sixteen year old Gemma is kidnapped from Bangkok airport and taken to the Australian Outback. This wild and desolate landscape becomes almost a character in the book, so vividly is it described. Ty, her captor, is no stereotype. He is young, fit and completely gorgeous. This new life in the wilderness has been years in the planning. He loves only her, wants only her. Under the hot glare of the Australian sun, cut off from the world outside, can the force of his love make Gemma love him back? The story takes the form of a letter, written by Gemma to Ty, reflecting on those strange and disturbing months in the outback. Months when the lines between love and obsession, and love and dependency, blur until they don't exist \- almost.

"Captivating story from beginning to end. It looks inside the mind of those who become obsessed with someone else, but it does so in a way where you feel sympathy for the captor... or in some cases, empathy with the captor's point of view. Definitely worth the time, with just enough of the creepy factor to have you questioning yourself for weeks."

"I was looking for a list of the best Michael L. Printz winners and honor books, since I've always enjoyed books that had received that accolade in the past, and a search online suggested I check out Monster.com. I visited the site, but it was completely unrelated to books, Printz winners or otherwise. I can't recommend it for the purpose, and in fact I think I might have to start using a different search engine. "
