"People have come along way through the history to establish the standards and norms that we perceive as functional today. Political, social and economical disciplines that we have right now and that we abide with, have historical background which is worth learning and comprehending. Utopia by Thomas More is an ideal depiction of how the societal tribes tend to develop established disciplines among themselves to live by. In this fictional land, every aspect of their life, is comparable and justifiable from the standpoint of real life perspectives that we humans may see. The intriguing contrast that Thomas has incorporated in this book has truly captured me and has delivered mesmerizing experience for me"

"I've gotten tired of doctor shows turning into soap operas, so I've been looking at books for my medical fiction fix. This book is right up my alley. Tense and tightly plotted, good pacing, and plenty of medical detail to swirl around the mystery of what's wrong and how they might be able to fix it if they can figure it out in time. It's an older book, but the writing's clean and solid and I like the characters a lot. The best thing about finding an older author is you can usually stay busy with their catalog for a while. This book's author will definitely occupy me."

"Yea, I'm a big Michael Crichton fan. I loved Jurassic Park! So when I saw that there were some similarities to that book I had to try. But the likeness to the Jurassic Park book stops with opening an amusement park with dragons. This one just isn't nearly as well developed. I hated the characters and didn't even care what happened to them. I hardly ever do this, but it's still sitting there unfinished. I have better things to do with my time than read books I'm not enjoying!"

"I really enjoyed Jurassic Park and was looking for a book that would grip me in the same way. A Sound of Thunder and Other Stories fit the bill! It's a collection of short science fiction stories written by Ray Bradbury (the same author as Fahrenheit 451) that provides just enough realism to relate to, but just enough fantasy to keep me turning the pages."

"King Kong's greatest strength comes from its most basic quality, a story-telling device that modern authors sometimes forget about: giant monstrous animals. It was entertaining when the first King Kong movie came out almost a century ago, and it's entertaining now. For any fan of giant dinosaurs or giant gorillas, King Kong is a must-read."
