"Charlotte's Web is a great classic. I read it as a child and fell in love with Wilbur. It was the first book I read as a child that humanizes animals, and I find it fantastic. Since then, I have gone on to read many more fantastical stories focus on animals, but Charlotte's Web remains close to my heart. The story is so heartbreaking in the end that it has left a lasting effect on me now as an adult. I can't wait for my daughter to come of reading age so I can purchase this book for her. "

"This is a delightful book to read and once I got a bit into it I just could not put it down. Adams does a wonderful job of bringing a family of rabbits to life and giving them very human qualities. I purchased this book because I have thoroughly enjoyed his other works. This is one of his best and will make an interesting read for anyone who enjoys a good novel."

Unfortunately, "The Truth" is just not that great. It is the third work in the "Lionboy Trilogy" and it doesn't appear to stand up to the other two. I would say that you should pick it up if you have or know a young reader who has read the other two and who really wants to know how the story ends, but as a standalone story, it is only OK, so I'd pick one of many other countless books that feature animals in various capacities.
