"This is a true story that you will have to read and still may not believe it is so horrific. But it is all true. Things in this book are so bad you will think they are made up but it is all true as told by a first-hand witness."

"With suicide and depression rates in teenagers on the rise, I think this is a good book to start reading. It was written before the huge rise in bullying on social media and things like that so it may be a bit outdated. However, I think it's a good book to build your knowledge off of. It offers decent insight into what you should look for and what you should do regarding suicide and mental illness in teenagers."

"I thought that this is a pretty good book. I was thinking that this book was more about personal anecdotes and experiences, but there is a lot of clinical information and a lot of information about genetics. I thought that those parts of the book were a bit dry and hard for me to understand, but it was still good information overall. "

"This book, dealing very seriously with rape and sexual abuse, should be very helpful for anyone dealing with something similar. This might not appeal to just anyone, due to the subject matter, and may not be the best choice for this exact search criteria, but does have some overlap in themes. It is also very well reviewed."

"Before You Break is an excellent read dealing with teen heartbreak. A young person struggles with life after her father has a heart attack. The book is more people-oriented rather than being about a story but don't let that stop you. Just as thrilling as any other good book."

"I feel like this book is an absolutely invaluable asset for someone struggling with depression or thoughts of suicide. As some one diagnosed with clinical depression learning how to cope with those feeling and express them in a safe and constructive environment is something that should absolutely be taught and encouraged. Resources such as this one can literally save lives, if reached in time. "

"While definitely not the same as a certified psychologist, You Untangled definitely gives you the tools to practice to help combat the effects of mental illness. With the help of worksheets and expert advice, this book allows the reader to explore and understand their emotional health; this maybe be in a professional or personal manner. Although this workbook deals mainly with mental health management, an individual without a disorder could benefit from the skills taught in this book."

"13 reasons why tells the story of a kid who committed suicide. It's an examination of the psychology of suicide and for adults who are trying to help, might lend some perspective on what other kids are going through in order to better help them. It's a fantastic, if heavy book that I recommend highly"
