"It doesn't really go into much detail about what all is included in the book such as an overview. Overall, I think this book may be okay for someone new like me that would like to learn how to knit. However, with me being new, it may be a little complicated starting off."

"While this isn't a strict general how to guide, I found it pretty helpful just hone my abilities as a lot of the projects covered cover a variety of skills that you can use later on for your own creations. Only thing I didn't like was there were a bit too many projects that seemed very similar to others."

"If you're looking to learn how to knit and you have a quirky sense of humor then this book is definitely for you. Even the title itself is a huge pun and kind of humorous.  the directions are concise and clear to the point while helping you be proud of all the work that you have put into that piece of knitting when it's done."

"This book is great. I've done a little bit of crocheting before, and I wanted to try out knitting. There were some more advanced things I want to try making later, but it had some nice simple patterns for an absolute beginner. I also loved how it had encyclopedic information for things. It gave a lot of useful tips to avoid forming bad habits. "

"This is not your grandmother's knitting book! It's a fun introduction to knitting, filled with tips and tricks as well as background. Best of all though, in case you couldn't tell from the title, it's a knitting book with attitude! I got this as a semi-joke for my wife, but she loved it and I wound up reading most of it as well, though I've yet to pick up my own needles."
