"The world of The Hobbit is pretty different from the world of Hogwarts, but like Harry Potter the Hobbit (and by extension the rest of the books in the franchise like The Lord of the Rings trilogy) has a very unique, well thought out fantasy world, with a complex mythology and interesting characters. It's a little on the kiddy side after finishing all the Harry Potter books, but that's alright, since the first Harry Potter books were meant for kids, too."

"If you are unfamiliar or just crave to know more about Harry Potter this is the book for you. It gives you the historical backdrop to Harry Potter's world, covering topics ranging from how real British boarding schools compare to Hogwarts to how parchment, quills, and scrolls used in the wizarding world were made. It also includes a timeline comparing the history of the wizarding world to Muggle history."

"Recently I found myself searching for the best books to read after Harry Potter, and I came across “Fablehaven” by Brandon Mull. In this captivating tale, mystical creatures of all description have gathered to a hidden refuge called Fablehaven to prevent their extinction, and the sanctuary is one of the last strongholds of true magic. This is a marvelous book for all ages, chlidren and adults alike."

"Powerful forces are unrelenting in their search for it. But fate has placed it in the hands of a young Hobbit named Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood), who inherits the Ring and steps into legend. The story is set in the imaginary world of Middle-earth - home to many strange beings, and most notably hobbits, a peace-loving "little people," cheerful and shy. The best imagination."

"A little on the pricey side but if you are a big fan of harry potter and legos i suggest you give it a read. The first one came out in 2001 and from then on they have been one of the best selling books of all time. It's a must read, i would even go so far that it would teach you a thing of two . I will pass this on to my daughter as its very informative."

"I had just read Harry Potter and fell in love with the plot and mystical game around it, and I was looking for a new book to read. I picked up The Lost Hero (Heroes of Olympus, Book 1) by Rick Riordan and I don't think it's meant for adults. As a book to read for teens-tweens, it would fit the bill, but for me, it's a no-go."

For Harry Potter fans such as myself, it is a very similar story type. I loved following the characters as they grew up in their troubled worlds."
