"This book is certainly well reviewed with over 2,000 reviews, with an odd 3/5 review regarding the quality of the books manufacturing. That aside, I can recommend this book for Halloween reading. But why stop there? I'm recommending this book for year-round reading!"

"It is because of the book version of The Amityville Horror that I find the movie version a little bit unsatisfying. It fed my imagination a lot that I think that the movie lacked a little bit of creativity."

"Stephen King is the master of horror - and if that's what someone's looking for at Halloween, then this book is definitely on the top of the list. For myself, I'm a little more light-hearted about Halloween and prefer to just bob for apples and maybe watch 'Hocus Pocus' again. This book sounds too dark for me."
