"the poor review is for the edition and not the material. Avoid this Smith and Brown edition. As with many plays that are old enough to be in the public domain, there are numerous editions, some better than others. In fact, anyone with a Xerox machine can make their own edition of this play, and this is pretty close to that. This is the worst edition I have ever seen of a script. The formatting is ponderous and poorly done. Character names are barely differentiated from the text that they speak; Stage directions are often buried in the text with little to differentiate them. In addition, the text goes so close to the edges that one sometime needs to break open the binding just to read it. There is not introduction, no annotations, nothing of interest to make up for the fact that this edition is annoying to read. If this were the only edition available, that'd be one thing, but there are so many options. I went to a bookstore and picked up this edition:"

"The Little Prince is a children's book with 96 pages and has been translated from the original French version of the story. It describes a journey of the little prince travelling from planet to planet where each planet has one adult living on it. It's a cute story and should be a good read for children of all ages."

"Christmas is often difficult for people with family issues. It can be easy to become cynical and dread the holiday season without good relations. Without a steady circle of family and friends, one loses claim to ptecious and sacred traditions. I have made my own traditions notwithstanding. I read this short novella every year for my personal Christmas tradition. It never ceases to burn away the sorrow and the bitterness of solitude at the Christmas season and instead, replace burdensome feelings with passion for Christmas, vigor to aid the poor among us, and light in the heart. Well worth the penny. Well done, Mr. Dickens! Hats off to you, good sir."

"The Old Man and the Sea is Hemmingway at his best. A seemingly simple tome, it actually explores with depth some fundamental questions about the choices we make in life and the struggles we create as a means of creating our own myths. I could read his prose forever--sharp, stark, and full of life. He was a major influence for a reason and there is a sentence on every page of this novella that I could read over and over again, finding new beauty each time."
