"It seems like a decent story, and I'm a little surprised that it has NOT been made into a movie. A half human, who may be able to save her sister, but at the cost of her own life, while the planet might be attacked from outer space."

"If fantasy is your type of books, this one is great for you. It has all the action you can ever imagine. Sadly, there is no movie otherwise I would watch the hell out of it."

"This is an interesting book, but not the strongest plot that I have read lately. The plot is thin as Daemon is continually called upon to use his power to save Katy and his sister. It would be difficult to make this into a feature movie and retain the audience for a very long period of time. As a book, it is good, but not page riviting."

"This book is horrible. I did not like the fact that for the young lady to feel she was changing, it had to be in a sexual way. With the state of things today, a woman should not have to be sexualized to feel she is making personal growth. "

""Angelfall" is a magical tale that ropes you in and never lets go. I fell into this book and could not put it down. Hands down one of the best books that hasn't been adapted into a movie yet."

"So, why didn't I like it? Firstly, it was dull. The first third of the book was us getting to know Tally Youngblood, the main character in the novel. We met her and she spent a long time going on about how everyone who wasn't pretty was so ugly, and so on. She soon grew sickening to listen to. The book split the next part into Tally's journey, which was long, tedious, and EXTREMELY boring. Everything else was boring and predictable."

"I feel this is a great story about using your talents and the gifts you were given. I don't think many people would sit through a movie version of this though. To me this just felt too Harry Potter like. "

"I am part of a library discussion group, and our topic during the last meeting was 'Best Books Which Haven't Been Adapted Into a Movie." We gave each other suggestions, and we were to check out the books our partners suggested and give feedback during the last meeting. My partner's suggestion was 'A Great and Terrible Beauty' by Libba Bray. I read it, and found it to be a pretty routine potboiler, there's nothing really wrong with it, but there are many far better books that haven't received the big screen treatment. I think my suggestion of 'Lord of Light' for my partner, was much better."
