"I've never heard of this book, never seen the movie either. The best book with a better movie adaptation it is :The Silence Of The Lambs (Thomas Harris). The book it is so well written and the movie it is even better than the book. Both the movie and the book are a must have and seen."

"Tolkien is a master of fantasy stories. His development of characters is supreme. This is the classic tale of good vs. evil written in the 1900's; truly the best."

"This really didn't live up to the movie. Having done the opposite of what most people do I watched this before I watched the movie and honestly, it was really not worth it. The book was tedious and boring and went on and on rambling about nothing to be honest. It seems to be that this would have been better suited to just a movie adaptation."

"The Shining is a Stephen King classic. I am as much terrified now to read it as I was 25 years ago. This is not the book to read if you live by yourself and read at night before going to sleep. I have been known to be startled and just scared beyond belief as I read this book. I even resorted to looking in all rooms and closets to make sure noone was there. This is one of Stephen King's most amazingly well written books ever!"

"If you're a fan of the original Dexter TV series that used to air in the 2000's-2010's, give this book a shot. If there is a void that you have been craving to fill in ever since the show has finished, this book will definitely fill in that gap if you're interested in seeing how the author used it as the basis of the hit show."

"One of my all time favorite "bittersweet, feel good about the human spirit and condition. Some of the finest acting (and oratory skills from Freeman) you'll ever see, superb plot, screenplay, directing, etc. Morgan Freeman is one of the finest actors of our time and Tim Robbins shone as the "good guy" character--well that's MY opinion, even if a bunch of critics didn't necessarily think so. Certainly on my all-time top 10 list. I often wonder how this film was nominated for so MANY Academy Awards and didn't win a single one. Just goes to show you..."
