"This is the eighth book of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series and it still has that great Ward soap opera feel. The paranormal romance part of the story is starting to fade and it is getting more into really interesting plot lines. I do not recall any deaf, mute, or speechless characters so if you are looking for that then this is not the book for you."

"I really enjoy the extra visibility the disability community has been getting, and the literary world now has many offerings with differently-abled characters. What I Didn't Say offers that sort of diversity as well as plenty of compelling relationships--not only romantic, but also in ways that show the importance of community and family. Haunting and unique, this is highly recommended YA for those seeking something a bit off the beaten path."

"The book cover is decent but looks dated like it was made in the 2980s. The storyline is very intriguing. It is women’s empowerment from that era. The “Wife Lottery” is a very disturbing but engaging concept. Interested to see how these women get things turned around here,"
