"Eragon is almost as prolific as Lord of the Rings at this point. Don't let the intended audience fool you, this book is a great read whether you're 15 or 55. If you like fantasy and have somehow missed Eragon, you're missing a lot!"

"I would say this is the epitome of books on modern day integration with dragons. An extremely good book, in my mind. The story is exiting and fun, but also charming. It provided an interesting alternate history that I really got into. Dragons are cool."

"Christopher Paolini rocks. This is the third book of the trilogy and amazing enough, he has not let the reader down. The first book was fantastic. The second book was as good as second books of trilogy can be attempting to be the bridge to the the last one. And this last one is as good as third books of a trilogy can be. Awesome!!!"

"When I think of great dragon books, plenty of classic series come to mind. The first? "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R. R. Martin. Sure, you might not like your dragons with a heaping helping of commercialism and Game of Thrones, but the man's writing is classic. Also acceptable would be The Hobbit, or any of the Lord of the Rings volumes. "The Discovery of Dragons" isn't a bad book, per se, but it doesn't offer a lot of what others in the genre do. This is a fun book to read and then never think about again, but it's certainly far from compelling literature. My recommendation is to read this, but only after you've checked out the better books that fit the bill."

"My daughter is 5 years old and she just started reading on her own. I knew she had more capabilities than what I was seeing. When I started with chapter books, I purchased the Magic a Treehouse series. She had very little interest in reading it herself. Then I found the Wrenly series and it all changed! My daughter immediately showed interest and she reads it on her own now! It mashes together all the things she loves - princesses, dragons, mermaids, unicorns, etc. And there are a few pictures along the way so that helps keep her engaged. These books are very appropriate for her age too (without words like "stupid" which I found in a Treehouse book)"
