"The Lord of the Rings needs no introduction. It is hands down one of the best fantasy books ever written, with intricate details about the different races and languages. The elves in particular were well described and a beautiful race in the book. I would highly recommend it to anyone. "

"I had hopes for this series, but it was disappointing. Some parts of the book are exciting but it is few and far between. Much of the book has a poor combination of being overly simplistic like a child, yet long winded with old words and metaphors that make it hard to follow. Seems like the type of book that would have a small but very loyal fan base. Not a fit for me. "

"I recently just got started into reading about the Forgotten Realms and someone recommended this book for me. It's great! It was a quite a long read for me. I can only read when I get off from work. Otherwise, it was fun. I really connected with the characters and loved how it was based throughout Drizzlt's life, from when he was a child to an adult. I'm excited to read the rest of this series. "

"The Iron Fey series is a wonderfully imaginative fantasy! I bought this for my teenage daughter, who is a voracious reader, and I had to buy the other six books in the series after it. She loves them - and having read the first, I do as well! A lot of modern fantasy lacks the, well, fantastic elements - this series beautifully rediscovers them, steeped in mythology and lore. Try it!"
