"I like how the book makes you feel in another time and in another world. The story is really interesting. I remember that when I first got the book I didnt really want to read but a friend told me it was really good so I gaved it a shot. I liked how the book mixes different elements such as gods, mythical creatures, social problems."

"I feel grateful that today's youth and new readers will get great exposure in the stories they read. Fantasy novels with empowered gay characters were less common when I first started reading. But with books like The High King's Golden Tongue, there's just more inclusivity and representative content!"

"It isn't often I use the word drivel but this book seems to fit it in spades. From blathering plot lines to pathetic characters I was annoyed that I even wasted time picking this book up much less reading from its pages. I'm not one to ban books but there are times when it should be done to prevent someone from ever reading something so poorly written. Throw this in the pile of books attempting to make hedonistic points of view something to be strove for and failing miserably to even produce an ounce of anything worthwhile in a literary sense. "

"I enjoy paranormal series featuring gay characters quite a bit, but Casket of Souls doesn't deserve to be on your radar. A growing genre for sure, there are many other interesting and compelling books to read besides this very average one."

"This story certainly involved homosexual content and fantasy creatures, but I did not get the feeling any sort of mojo happened between human and creature. I was looking forward to a My Little Pony sort of fetish, and all I got was a Huckleberry Fin type of adventure. The story was still a fantasy classic, just not what I had in mind. "

"I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline of this novel, although the names of the characters and creatures were a bit challenging to pronounce and remember. This story intertwines half-magical people with long histories of sin and power. The complications continue with individuals who should oppose each other find that they need to work together. Definitely complex, but quite enjoyable."

"I found The Lightning-Struck Heart when I was young and looking for LGBT related books. Being a fan of LGBT issues and fantasy novels, this was a perfect fit for what I wanted to read. I didn't even know at the time that gay fantasy creatures were a thing so I was pleasantly surprised to find this novel. Overall I recommend it to anyone interested in this niche genre."
