"I think that this is a very good choice and could very well be considered the best option. Another good choice i think is the cut and run series. However, this series characters have more to do with the FBI than military so if your looking for pure military then Catch a ghost is your best option."

"My brother is a gay man serving with the military. He is also a sucker for a good romance novel. I gave him this book as a gift for Christmas and he loves how steamy it is!"

"This was recommended to me as a military book with a gay theme. What I didn't know is that it also involves one of the principal characters being a werewolf. On top of that the writing is just horrible. I suspect some of the reviews are paid of shills. It reads like a teenager wrote it."

"A great fit for the solution to the topic. Very unusual tale of wartime romance. Not sure of the intended audience as many might find it offensive."

"Her Majesty's Men tells a really nice story about how love can spring up regardless of circumstance. You don't see too many books about gays in the military, and I was surprised at how well told this one was. Would I say it's the best book on the subject? Probably not, the story is a little too typical romance novel for that. But it's a good read nonetheless."

"High school lovers separated from their one another due to the work and responsibilities of growing up, one an NFL player and the other a military veteran, the once romantic couple is tired of being apart. The story is emotional and the sexual connotations are in full swing, with plenty of steamy make out sessions, this story is practically pornographic in nature. If your looking for a strictly cheesy romance novel, this is it."

"I was surprised by the eloquence of the prose. The character's flaws really made me care and I just simply couldn't put this book down. Unlike some books just trying to fill a LGBT spot on a shelf so to speak, Chariots has actual substance--though it is not entirely lacking in cheesecake."

"This is not just a captivating love story. The author does a good job with world-building and creating strong conflict. Though at first I wasn't sure I would like this book, I found myself drawn into it and really rooting for the characters!"
