"This is definitely science fiction with a new twist, especially written by a woman of color. However, this novel is firmly in the realm of science fiction and does not crossover at all."

"There is nothing like time travel to get the imagination spinning. Outlander which falls in multiple genres beautifully mixes history, romance, and just a little bit of sci-fi. I highly recommend this one for fans of any genre! "

"Unique, impossible to put down, historical fantasy that is truely one of a kind! If ever you read the first, you will be compelled to read the second, the third, then youll find yourself reading the next three following the exploits of Imriel. After that, you'll then find yourself reading Morin's adventures and then when done with these three, you'll be wishing there were more!!! One of the best series of books I've been fortunate to find and read again and again!! I just wish there were more!! "

"This book was a thrilling ride all the way through. It had so much variety in it, which made it almost impossible for me to be bored with it. The action was over the top, but it kept me entertained throughout. I managed to read it in only a couple of days and I do not regret it. The genre crossing made the book feel like something completely new, which is much appreciated in this time of cliches. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys crossovers."
