"I picked up the series one day because it really looked interesting and I love stories about magic. I was really into this one. I love that there are more kids in this book, because I found it more entertaining. They have to use magic to help them overcome evil forces and they use the magic they were born with. Very entertaining and suspenseful, I am looking forward to more."

"I have to say, I was surprised by this book. This is not a genre that I am accustomed to reading (I'm an old English major!). So, when I got this series, I was skeptical. But having read the entire series (5 books) let me just say, this book is sheer fun. It's full of fantasy and magic, biting sarcasm - and witticisms that just make you smile and shake your head. Count me in as a fan!"
