"I read this book in high school and just now finished reading it again. I didn't remember it being this good! Maybe because I'm older now that I can see how great the characters are and fully understand how good the book is. "

"I saw the movie before reading the book. I thought the movie was great, but it pales in comparison to the book. Interview With the Vampire is scary, witty, amazing, cruel, heartbreaking, satisfying, and about a dozen other things. Anne Rice has a talent like no other!"

"Wow, I can finally enjoy this poem! I remember trying and struggling so hard in English class back in high school. The teacher's Old English interpretations helped a lot, but it was still so rough to get through. I bought this out of curiosity and I'm so glad I did. This is the absolute best version I've looked at. The translation does an excellent job of keeping the flow of the Old English so that it reads like a poem. How many translations can do that? Thank you so much Mr. Heaney!"

"This is a classic Stephen King novel. It preys upon all of our fears. It reminds us of our child-like fears: those of clowns and mummies and other horrors. But it also interchangeably unlocks our darkest adult fears, such as losing a child. For these reasons, IT goes down with Stephen King's book Stand By Me for unlocking the vulnerable parts in us all. It's also just a good read."

"This novel, and the series it is a part of, sounds like a decent science fiction story. However, it seems to be based more in reality, and hard scifi themes, without any sort of supernatural or monster related elements. This isn't really the sort of scifi I would expect to see in my search for monster fiction."
