"My second favorite book in the series. This book takes a more adult tone compared to the first three, but still retains the care free attitudes of the first 3. I always look forward to reading this one as it is a perfect length for a book and it keeps you addicted and turning the pages until you reach the end. This is a highly recommended book in the series from me."

"The Great Gatsby is counted as one of the classics of literature for good reason. F. Scot Fitzgerald coined the phrase "the jazz age," and he gives us probably the most clearly drawn portrait of that period in this book. Fitzgerald's novel is full of materialistic shallow people, and focuses a great deal on the clashes and contrast between old money and the nouveau riche. It raises the question of what exactly the nature of the American dream is, and for that matter, what's the whole purpose of human endeavor? It's all done in beautiful, poetic language, too."

"I liked reading this book to my younger cousin. It is a great book to enjoy with kids. A spunky a likable protagonist that kids can relate to is a huge positive. I really thought that the overall plot was great and that character development was smart. Some more serious readers may not like the book as much."
