"This is novel about a woman who is very into risk management. Things get a bit out of hand in the book. From some comments it seems like it has a slow start but turns into something very interesting. I think I will order it."

"Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake by Sarah MacLean. the story for the lovers the Lady Calpurnia Hartwell is a 28 year old spinster. She has accepted this role and is quite comfortable in it, or at least she was until one day she overhears her little sister talking about her and saying that she is passive. Nice for readers who wants to spend their time in romantic room."

"I think the book is great as it gives a lot of women a great heroine to look up to. It's a small detail but I feel like if the book is supposed to be about a girl who is on the heavier side shouldn't the cover reflect that? The cover has a skinny woman on it and not what I would picture when thinking of a heavier girl."

"I could really relate to Penelope and I loved Colin. The ending wasn't spectaculer because reactions were mostly left to my imagination, but it worked, and maybe you like it like that. This story stood strong for my second read, but it wasn't as exciting because I already knew the mystery and just wanted it to come out sooner... If that makes sense lol. It seems now that I'm a mother of two boys, I have enough anxiety in my life that I don't really like to read books with too much angst. This I could handle, it wasn't annoying and any anger between the main characters were short. The angst came from keeping the secret from her friends and the "ton." I rated this as 4.5* my first read because I really liked it, but I'm switching it to 3.5 because now it's between "it was okay" and "I liked it." I'm sure I'll read it again and will update my review then."

"This YA book has a narrow audience with it's high-school theme and immature lead character. It's predictable and outlandish, however it was written by an author who was also in her teens (she was seventeen and a senior during publication), so those in that age group may relate. It does have positive lessons by the end, although there is bullying and self-esteem challenges throughout."

The heroine of this book is overweight and not so tall, and she will have to deal with Vane, half man and half wolf.. It's a funny title, and I will read it as well!"
