"Though I am a fan of wizards and witches, The lord of the Rings would not be my first pick. It drags out to get to the important parts. My pick would be Harry Potter."

"This is a pretty cool spinoff from the original Cassandra Claire series, and it's definitely carried by the charisma of her Magnus character. He's definitely the best character she could use have used for an offshoot like this. Additionally, her writing style has vastly improved with practice and I'm loving it. "

"I picked this book for a book report because I thought it would be a fun adventure to read but hated it. The plot is so complex I couldn't keep up with it. It deals with this fake mythic world and these weird temples and gods fighting with mortals. If you're into really wild fantasy books and wild themes, you should read it. I should have gone with an easier book though."
