"Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is a wonderful book worth reading, for both young and old. I first read it to my children during a camping trip around the campfire. "There is a compelling need to read this tome if you have read the previous three Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling, but maybe you should read the first three if you haven't before you read this one of the series. Fantastical wizardry again as Harry Potter journeys to win the Triwizard Tournament and one can expect the unusual, dangerous and compelling tale to unfold in hard to put down fashion. "

"You either love Jane or you hate Jane--and I love her. Pride and Prejudice is a classic. The push and pull between Elizabeth Bennet and Darcy is one of my favorite literary romances of all time. On a more serious note, the psycho-social portrait of the 19th century era London country-side is well worth the read alone."

"Let me start off by saying that I think all of the Harry Potter books are worth reading. However, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is probably one of my least favorite books from the series. It still tells a crucial part of the story though, so it is a must-read for true Harry Potter fans."

"Nowadays there's no getting away from Game of Thrones, everyone from the office to the gym talks about the HBO series. Whether you have watched every episode or have no idea what they're talking about, I'd highly recommend the books. A Song of I've and Fire in particular offers character development sorely lacking from the television series; it's hard to put down, and will leave you hungry for more. Lucky for you, this is just one book in an excellent series!"

"I wasn't a fan of the author's journalistic style of writing in this book. The story itself was a little disgusting in places, and though I didn't mind that, other readers might... be aware. I wouldn't consider this one of the best books I've ever read and honestly I don't thing I would read it a second time or recommend it."
