"Cerrtainly a memorable book for me! I enjoyed these books thoroughly when I was younger, and it's actually one of the few series that I still think about fondly years later. I thought I'd pick this up for my kids, figuring they would enjoy them as much as I did. They sort of liked them, but I think the world they live in is so different from the one in the books that they don't connect with them as well as I did in the past."

"I'm a big fan of author Enid Blyton and I have been on a mission to find her best books. The Magic Faraway Tree is definitely one of them. This is the second book in the Faraway tree series and is a great adventure children's fiction book. The illustrations are not my favorite, but the story is beautiful. "

"I really enjoyed this book. Enid Blyton's writing style has matured over time. This book, the fourth in the series, does not have some of the awkwardness in the first book. The story is entertaining and transitions smoothly, and the characters themselves have matured and been developed further as well. If you liked any of Enid Blyton's other works, you would enjoy this book."

"While a good example of Enid Blyton's work, this is not her absolute best book. She has better written and more interesting titles that fit a very similar niche, that purchasers would likely be very happy with."
