"The Knox Mission makes you sit on the edge of your seat intrigued to find out what happens next. It is quite interesting to see a police office turn his daily experiences into a creative imaginative series of books. I enjoy reading crime novels as well as watching tv series about crime. I really like the fact that the description allows the reader to question the motive of the assassin by comparing him to you and me. I like the direction the book is going in by allowing the main characters to put their differences aside and work together. "

"Behind the Badge: A Policeman's Legacy is definitely one of the best books written by former cops! I like that it's nonfiction as I was tired of reading fiction when I bought it. I came across it accidentally while browsing online and it caught my eye somehow. I'm really glad it did because it's so intriguing to get a "behind the scenes" look at the career of a real cop! I would pick it up again to give as a gift!"

"This website provides a lot of details and gives what this book ranks on the website. It isn't the best book but it is her best, and only book published. She was a former small town cop and story plot intersected with her love of writing."

"George Shuman was a police officer for twenty years before becoming a novelist. His crime scenes and police procedure reflects this--all the details are extremely accurate. The main character is a blind psychic who can tune in on the circumstances of a murder victim's death. This is the second book in the Sherry Moore series, and it's a real page turner."

"This book is something that you underestimate before you read it. It's full of twists and turns, and different from the typical crime thriller or prison drama. It has a very good moral lesson. I really felt like someone from law enforcement was telling me a personal story when I read it. Not for the faint of heart."
