"1996 was a great year. I was playing Metal Gear Solid, some of the best songs came out. But, what about the best books of that year. It is sometimes easy to miss great pieces of works because of how much entertainment passes our face everyday, but I think it's important to look back on a year like 1996 and find the best books to read. I think this is a great intro to that year of books. "

"Mary Doria Russell's tale of the search for extraterrestrial life delivers suspense and mystery from every corner. From hope and beauty, the story evolves into a series of misunderstandings that culminate in an ending that, to avoid spoilers, will deliver a lasting memory. Recommended without reservation."
