"Season 5's premiere starts with a bang seeing Jake and Rosa in prison. Without giving too much away, it was one of the best Brooklyn 99 episodes for me as it shows that the show can still be creative with the situations and environments that its characters can still explore."

"At the time, it seemed like season 5 would be the show's last and it didn't take the news lying down. With news that the 99 could get shut down due to budget cuts, each member of the precinct takes time to contemplate and work like it will be their last day together."

"This was the show's 100th episode and it was where it pulled out all the stops. It showcased each of the cast and gave them their time in the limelight and the "master planner" makes an appearance yet again making it one of the best Brooklyn 99 episodes to watch."

"Season 4's finale ended in a huge way seeing Jake and Rosa getting framed, the effects of which you'll see at the start of season 5. Needless to say, you're in for a surprise. I love Rosa and am glad to see her get more time with the show."

"This is one of the best Brooklyn 99 episodes if only because we actually get to see Jake be professional and do his job - well, at least in a way that only he can - even if it's just to get Holt's praise again."

"This episode was probably the most realistic and emotional look at Jake's back story. It also explains why he has always been desperately trying to get Holt's attention and approval all this time."
