"As exclusive older PC gamer I love classic styles of games I grew up with. I recently started playing Tyrian 2000. Tyrian 2000 is a scrolling shooter. It reminds me of the 16 bit console era and that is good. The game play and story line are pretty neat and keeps me interested. I recommend this to people who enjoy the shooter experience on the PC and don't need flashy graphics."

"One of my favorite genres of games are overhead shooters, and the more enemies and bullets fired, the better! I love the Japanese arcade spaceship shooters where the screen is literally overwhelmed with enemies. The action is always intense and overwhelming. Jamestown is a game that I recently discovered that fits the bill perfectly. There are dozens of enemies on the screen at all times and 100's of bullets. Add in a few cooperative players and the action is insane! This is my new favorite PC shooter."

"If you have any hint of epilepsy, do NOT play this game. I was eager to try this and spent the next day with a headache that I couldn't get rid of. I tried it again a few weeks later and headache again. If you are into strobe lights and headaches, this is the game for you. For me, I will pass."

"While not really being Bulletstorm (you know, the crazy good shooter game?), Bullet Heaven 2 is pretty fun. It's more like the old school Galaga game than Bulletstorm, so as a replacement for Bulletstorm it's a terrible choice, but it's a fun game if you're just looking for any kind of shoot-em up that includes a vertical scrolling platform."

"it doesn’t sound like anything special. It’s a sci-fi dual-stick shooter. But after playing, Assault Android Cactus really stands out. controls and gameplay to sound and design are done very well by a small team of 3 people who write all of the gaming software. Well done."
