DID YOU KNOW?
Receiving unwanted calls from telemarketers and robocalls are very annoying. This is also true with people who you don't want to talk to but still keeps on calling. You can shrug it off by blocking these numbers from contacting you again using the best android call blocker out there. But sometimes, you receive calls from an anonymous person with no numbers displaying. That leaves you wondering, how is that even possible? You may think that this person uses a special kind of phone number or maybe the person calling is in authority. Think again! Did you know that even you can block your own number so it will not display through Caller ID? That is true. There is no need to subscribe to any special plans with your service provider. In fact, this feature is totally FREE! You can do it either temporary or permanent.
Try this one out: Dial *67, followed by the number you want to contact (including the area code), and press "Call." Your Caller ID on the receiving end will only display as "Private number" or any other indicator instead of your personal number. This is temporary and will only take effect on the numbers you used the code to. If you want to call as an anonymous permanently, you will need to contact your phone carrier and request for a line block. Just do take note that this option is irreversible once done!
