What are the best Cartoon Network shows?

We've all been on that childhood phase where watching cartoons every single day is a must. And why not? Kids and even kids-at-heart do love these fun and silly animations, boasting characters that have been TV darlings for a long time. And one is that one thing that we can vividly remember about our cartoon binge-watching habits? It must be Cartoon Network we have at the back of our heads. Needless to say, the classic Cartoon Network TV shows have been all well-loved. With top-rated and heavily-watched cartoon series, it's the king of cartoon channels. Who will ever forget the crazy kid's all-girl trio of the 'Powerpuff Girls', the amazing inventions from 'Dexter's Laboratory', or even the queer antics of 'Courage the Cowardly Dog'? Those are just some of the old Cartoon Network shows that have taken over toon lovers' attention and time as well. And though there have been later additions to the channel's roster of animations, the classics always occupy a bulk of the channel's prime.

Even though recent data has shown that Youtube and Netflix have taken over even US kids' watching habits, there's simply no other channel that brings solid cartoon entertainment just as Cartoon Network does. If you're someone who still loves to dive right in front of your TV sets to spend long hours watching cartoon shows, then Cartoon Network is all here for you. In this list, we have the best Cartoon Network shows for your entertainment. So keep your remote controls hidden from anyone else and start the long cartoon marathons!

DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that Cartoon Network exists largely due to a buyout and ownership that lasted for less than 3 months? Back in 1986, the Turner Broadcasting System managed to acquire Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer but was then forced to sell it back to its original owners within 75 days of the buyout. Ted Turner, however, kept a numerous number of MGM's library developed before May 1986. Amongst these libraries are the cast of the Looney Tunes as well as the Popeye cartoons. Despite these assets being possessed by Turner at an early time, Cartoon Network wasn't launched up until the last quarter of 1992.

Although it wasn't the first cable channel with cartoons, it was the first single-genre, animation-themed channel that runs for 24 hours. The network used to air the old cartoons they had in their library, along with the classics that some children still remember to this day, namely Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry, which lasted until 2017. Occasionally though, some old cartoons are still aired by CW, albeit on a non-regular basis. From the years of its inception until the present time, Cartoon Network has gained plenty of new shows like Adventure Time and Steven Universe, as well as partnerships and a steady increase in viewership, which is impressive considering that it's been one of the oldest networks that broadcast cartoons.

"Is it just me or this show is really depressing? I'm starting to think that having imaginary friends is a sign that you are depressed? I don't know. As a child  I've never seen it that way but anyway this is still a good series. I enjoyed Mac and his adventures with his imaginary friends. I still consider it good since the show is cute and makes you wanna have imaginary friends too. "

Nonetheless, It's still one of the best cartoon network shows I've ever watched. Can totally relate to coward in all aspects. I think "coward" has now become my middle name. And besides the fact that he's a dog, I just loved it even more. "

Ed, Edd (Double D), and Eddy are so funny and they are just so relatable and fun to watch. The show itself is just so freakin' hilarious. I remember the episode where Ed was just so tired of everyone being dumb and he tried to educate them. "
