The New Batman Adventures is a series based on Batman and his sidekicks. It is the continuation of the 90's Batman: The Animated Series and it was aired from 1997 to 1999. It was one of the series that came following the success of Batman: The Animated Series. It was first aired in 1996 and tried to modernise and update a character like Superman, sometimes too naïve. It was produced by Bruce Timm as Batman and was highly acclaimed like its predecessor. It has been considered by fans and critics as one of the best adaptations of Superman ever with an adult touch and a feeling and tone that goes back to the 40s cartoon and modern and mature themes.
The Zeta Project is a DC animated series that is based on the character Zeta from the Batman Beyond episode of the same name. The series is set in the DC animated universe and in the chronology of the Batman Beyond series. Zeta is an humanoid designed to covert operations including assassinations. Zeta discovers that one of his targets is innocent and experiences a crisis that makes him abandon the mission and going rogue, suffering an existential crisis. The show lasted two seasons, from 2001 to 2002.
