"This book is probably one of the best books I have read. I was always wondering what would happen next – some parts were filled with fear and emotion and some filled with action. My favorite part of the book was when Percy fights Ares, the god of war. I could not put this book down. Wherever I went this book came with me. Rick Riordan Is a very good author and I love reading his books. I can't wait to start reading the next one."

"Are you interested in the ancient religions and their mythologies, like that of Ancient Greece? If your answer is even as resounding as a tepid "I'm not sure," then you need to crack open Hades and embark on a fantastical journey to the underworld across the River Styx--just be thankful that it's not in a ferry with coins over your eyes and Charon at the helm."

"I really enjoyed this book of the series. I found it to be exciting and really made me not so irritated about Z's love life. This book was definitely different and made it clear as to what Heath, Stark and Kalona were to her and why it was important for them to be in her life. The ending made me want to run upstairs and grab the next book because it just left you needing more. I am sad that it ended the way it did for her consort but I think there may be a reason as to why things happened the way they did. I am definitely looking forward to reading the next book in the series."

"This does not appear to have any sort of Greek myth influence to it. This is very much based on the mythology of vampires and traditional supernatural elements of the like. This isn't at all what I am looking for in terms of theme. The audience might be similar enough, but not the content."

"Goddess Boot Camp is a bit of an odd book that my young daughter was really into. It focuses on a female main character who is surprised to find out she is a Descendant of a Goddess and has special powers. The entire arc of the story is a bit odd and cheesy so it may not be the best reading with a child but your youngster may very well love this book."

"This was a great book for a family to read. The Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian is the final installment in the great Percy Jackson series. I have enjoyed this series a great deal and will no doubt read the other Rick Riordan series. My feelings were that each book in the series was better than the one before, I suspect that this could be due to my growing familiarity with the characters. When I read, I try not to over-analysz it too much. My reasons for reading are not to dissect the book and look for faults, but rather to take it at face value and get into the story that's being told. "

The book is very true to the original Greek myth but lets children learn about them in a fun new way. Sort of a Harry Potter meets Greek mythology mash up. You will not be disappointed if you want to learn and be entertained while doing so!"
