"We Are in a Book! (Elephant and Piggie) is a great book for very young children. I'd recommend it for kids 0-5 as kids older than that may not find it too interesting but I will say the very basic art style makes it very easy for young children to understand and follow."

"Babar and His Children is a sweet book that draws from a classic character. The book shows us both how fun and also how difficult child-rearing can be. It is a charming book, however, modern kids reading it may feel like it is too old-fashioned and cheesy. It represents a very different way of raising kids than many parents utilize today. I read it and I alternate between waves of wistfulness but also a feeling that the corniness of parts of the story just don't connect with people today. "

"I love the entire Chet and Bernie series! Having a dog narrator is adorable, and the author manages to make it not come across as cheesy. A circus is the backdrop for this book, as Chet and Bernie try to find a missing elephant. I think even kids as young as 7 would enjoy this."

"This kids book is a very poetic tale of the search for a lost sibling. It's so beautifully written that it seems more like an adult book. But its very well suited to children and a very sweet story revolving around the boy finding an elephant that will lead him to his lost sister."

"With all that's been going on involving privacy and society, Orwell is getting noticed more than he used to. I noticed, and wanted to learn more. This book fit in pretty well. Better than a simple bio to cash in; it's Orwell's own words. I loved the chance to get a glimpse into his mind, how and why he thought about certain things. Definitely recommended."
