"In this world of snark and drivel, this book is a gem. It’s the classic book and you probably read it as a child and feel it must be outdated. But fret not, love never is. It’s a beautiful book that by grand-daughter cherished. I have to read it every time I visit. Thank God for Margery Williams."

"I still remember going to the school library in second grade (we went once a week) and picking this book out...and then again the next week...and the next week...until they wouldn't let me any more. I still think it's a precious book, and so different from the neon colored, Disney over-run, children's books I see everywhere today. I'm making sure to buy old the old classics for my nephew, and this is at the top of the list!"
