"While this app is very useful for learning the Chinese language, one wouldn't have a reason to use this for the purpose of traveling. It might help you understand the language used in destinations, but it doesn't help you get here."

"Codegent, the company behind "Learn Chinese" seems to have a nice niche. They offer a number of different languages for travelers. They don't try to do too much ... just get you around easier where you need to go as a traveller. I think there's a lot of competition in the more general language learning market, but I think these guys are wise not to chew off more than they can handle as they fight more well know competitors. I'm not sure they're one of the "best China travle apps," but they're certainly one of the better ones."

"A great translation app. I am going to use this app on my trip to China. I really hope it helps because I don't speak Chinese and I am worried about getting lost or something happening in China. I will report back how well it works after my trip. "

"Now that people rely so much on phones for their maps, and other questions when travelling, you have got to have an offline solution when travelling abroad. You never know what you might run into when travelling, it could be no service, expensive service, or slow service. If you need maps to navigate, nothing can be worse than not being able to access those maps depending on the cell service you are receiving at your destination. I downloaded OffMaps 2 to solve this for me. It allows me to download any map that I think I might need so that my phone always has maps that I need."
