"I am not sure this is a true Christian book, but it's a great read for any child and any religion. That shouldn't matter. It has a great story and lesson, and I think it's perfect for any third grader looking to challenge themselves. I wouldn't say it's the best, but it's good. "

"Kids have loved the Laura Ingalls Wilder series for many years. This is another way for them to enjoy the stories of Laura and her family - in addition to reading them and watching reruns of the TV series. It is so good for kids to read entertaining stories. They have to imagine what is happening and kids don't get a lot of opportunities to practice using their imaginations now days. "

"Not really sure why this book is "Christian Classical". Some magical themes in the book.. but it is fairly well written. Opt for the non print copy if you can. Some of the artwork and pages are blurry and not great. Story is fine for kids."
