"I really like the first Narnia book. The other books in the series have varied in quality. I've like some more than others. The Silver Chair is among the best. It is one that is still pretty good when reading it as an adult. The first book would not have entertained me as much if I read it as an adult first."

"I don't think this is a good choice. Strong christian's abhor anything with magic and this book is full of it. It also is full of false messiah like tales. It should be avoided if you are a strong christian."

There are many references back to the faith and the story unfolds in a typical fashion but expands rapidly into a powerful captivating story."

"I think the Chronicles Of Narnia is a fantastic book, I don't know how "Christian" I would say the book is, so I don't believe it would be the perfect option. However, the book itself is amazing and a great fantasy book."

"From start to finish I could not put this book down. It is the third book in the series and is really the point where the story starts to pick up. Dekker begins to build a concrete world in this book and really fleshes out his characters in a way he hasn't before. Though it is a fantasy setting, the characters seem so believable and human."
