"If you're looking for a great Cinderella kind of fairy tale romance, then the best book is The Selection. It's a great mix between fantasy and romance which is beautifully written by Kiera Cass. I really enjoyed the story and the descriptions the author has used throughout the book."

"My daughter and myself actually read this together and loved the story line. It was a welcome change to hear the Disney princess deny the suitor that everyone expected her to marry because she was not happy. What a wonderful conversation starter for my daughter and myself on what happiness looks like for yourself and how other people will perceive your happiness. Highly recommended for families with daughters."

"I'm usually all for a Cinderella retelling, but this took an already bland character and somehow made her even more bland. The romance is cheesy and stilted, and just... no."

"In my mind this is just an average teen book. Nothing really stands out about it take it over the top and a must read. The writing is average and the story itself is rather predictable wirth uninteresting charecters. Only way I would buy this is from a garage sale for a dime!"

"Cecilia knows that she is not just another peasant girl; she is actually the true princess, in hiding until the evil forces that killed her parents are vanquished. A commoner named Desmia is on the throne as a decoy. I can only imagine losing your place on the throne by evil people. Fantasy fiction romance is the best way to tell this story that will keep the readers interested."

"Cinderella's Dress is a historical retelling of the famous fairy tale set during the time of the second World War. The settings bring the story to life and I quite enjoyed this alternate take on an established fairy tale. If you're looking for a solid young adult story interwoven into the fabric of a fairy tale, you should give this book a try."
