"I'm not sure if I could consider this result to be "classic" but it is from a Dutch author and does have above average reviews. However if I search for the best of something I don't expect to see 4 out of 5 stars I want to see at least 4.5 stars. For such a broad topic I expect that there are better books that would be more appropriate than this one."

"This book called the Black Idyll is really good. The person in the book is a traveling around and meeting all kinds of interesting people. I like to travel and my friend that I went on my last trip with told me about this book and when I read the first chapter I just loved it! You should buy it too."

"An alright book about a teenager who after waking up from a coma tells everyone about the dreams he's been having during his coma. Some of it was interested but a lot of it fell flat to me."

"This is a really heartwarming tale of separated siblings and how they find each other later in life. The writing is very well done and the story is really good. I think it's perfect for young adults and adults both."

"Written in 1992, Rituals is a classic work of contemporary Dutch literature. It follows the story of Inni, a lethargic person who saw life as utterly chaotic. While it has not gotten rave reviews, Rituals is well-known among fans of Dutch literature. Though there are probably better works out there, Rituals is a good starting point for fans of the genre."

"This is unheard of and thoughtful to include all of the work, minus those books that are not supposed to be included, of an author. This kept me busy and will take care of your reading itch for quite some time, depending on avid a reader you are. I liked it enough to say that it was a good buy."

"For me, Narcissus and Goldmund has some good and bad going for it. I thought it was a fast read, but it also had some dull moments. I didn't find it to be anything that special, but I learned some lessons about friendship through reading it. "
